Thank you so much for this e-mail. I had no clue that our site even had this function. We only promote one product and they are the best in the cold as well. They are called Landmark shingles – manufactured by CertainTeed. The reason why they are better in winter then IKO or HARMONY is because they are softer and will bend before cracking. What you are going to do is place the two nails on the outer ends of the shingle right on the double line which is recomened for steep roofs. This will keep the shingle from blowing off the roof.
I have done many complex buildings in the cold with IKO and watched them blow off in the same spot no matter how many nails. So get down to the supply shop and grab some Landmark shingles. Have a great and safe day. Thank you Team 547

you did not floss therefore your teeth will decay fall out Really dude? this is not a brbuer roof, and you do not need to clean seams in fact there is no cleaner for PVC as it is not needed! there is MEK solution which will not harm the PVC membrane and acetone which is also safe. Any way, go spread your ridiculous comments elsewhere.

We pretty much drive as far as we can. When somebody calls us we go in order. I really make sure I don’t turn down any job I can. I like customers to call me get a great quote and a nice roof and have a smooth exp with our company. Turning down jobs means turning down a great lead. The more you help people the more they help you. I love how some people use these big companies and think they are getting the best. I had to repair a leaking chimney that was pouring in yesterday on a roof that was done by a very big company. The homeowners called but! Come on its Christmas who’s going to come. When people call me I go I don’t care when it is. I care because I am grateful that my kids and wife will have more then I have ever had. I believe hard work pays off and keeping it up is my plan. Every Roofer has the product they like. It’s based on the supply shop they deal with. If you deal with Harmony shingles you can buy them from every supply shop and home depo ect. Ladmark shingles are only sold at Spar Marathon Roofing and Convoy. The problem I have and know from experience fixing many jobs done from other companies is the tar does not seal properly. If you find an area in the shade at all times or a side where the sun does not have contact the shingle will lift up. The tar lines on Harmony are dry and hard. With the landmark they are soft and tacky. They don’t need much to stick and this really is very important. But again this is what I recommend; you can get your info from a guy who has been shingling for 30 years and think they know what they are talking about. I Will make sure I give every home owner they same shingles I put on my roof. My home was built 9 years ago and the shingles needed to be changed already this is something I will not have to deal with using landmark. I want my kids to take over this company and not have to deal with unhappy people. There is one thing about being great it goes a long way. Thanks Team 547

Recently they have come out with metal shingle roof setsyms that are far superior to asphalt. Steel or aluminun shingles are now made to look like wood shake shingles. Copper roofing is also available. These metal roofs far outlast asphalt. Often good for 50-100 years. The big downside is the cost, they cost as much as ten times more than asphalt.

Of the four buildings, the best roof has heavy weight shingles. Problems with tin roofs are: Rust, bending in the wind, or worse yet, blowing off. They sweat, leak, and dent with hail. They’re great for an old barn or a cabin porch, but I wouldn’t cover a decent investment with it.

Thanks so much for checking our our site. When I first started roofing I broke a couple screens and I was so unhappy after working all week to buy a phone. I started using the otter box. I have not broken a screen yet. I kept replacing the box but found out later they have a life time warranty. So go grab an otter box and save some money. At the time I thought better the phone then me it made me feel better. So be safe and tie off on every roof. Thanks so much Team 547

your guide wheel is in the wrong position. aujdst the wheel. line it up with your seam put it right on the edge. with a little tweeking your guide wheel and machine should ride on that seam almost by its self..
